EM boundaries

Not a setup-tree node. Embedded in the application.

  • Control: action (ToolButton2)
  • Shown when: !root.magnetic
  • Control: action (ToolButton2)

repeated once for every entry in EmState.boundaries

  • Control: choice (ComboRow)
  • Control: action (ToolButton2)
  • Control: choice (ComboRow)
  • Control: value (ValueField)
  • Unit: V
  • Value modes: none (plain entry)

The in-app guidance depends on the case:

  • Held there. Zero volts on the face that is grounded is the usual reference, and every other voltage is measured against it.
  • Positive is current going into the part.
  • Charge sitting on the surface, not a potential — the face finds its own voltage.

The application reports no problems against this step.

… marks a value the application computes at run time, so the source carries no fixed text for it.
